The story
Dental care close to home in Meenchanda.
Adhithi Poly Clinic opened in Meenchanda in July 2016, founded by Dr. Athira Sreeraj three years after she qualified from Royal Dental College and one year after starting her practice at Iqraa Hospital.
It began small. What it did not begin with was the compromise most small clinics accept — that specialist cases have to be sent elsewhere. Over the years since, Dr. Athira built a panel of fifteen dentists covering every major dental discipline, so that a patient walking in from Meenchanda would receive the same standard of specialist care available in any city hospital, without leaving their neighbourhood.
That is what the clinic is today: a multidisciplinary dental practice, in a residential area of Kozhikode, staffed by MDS qualified specialists across surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, periodontology, paediatric dentistry and oral radiology.
